Mr.  Ray Nash, President 
 
Mr. Nash is a member of the Class of 1972.

As President, he will develop, implement, execute, and manage the programs and policies of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA).

The president represents the association. He will embody the association's vision, mission, and values. He is the face of the association. It is important for him to have a positive image because his reputation is linked to the association's reputation. He will ensure the association's activities are compliant and in furtherance of its mission. Leading, managing, and developing the association's volunteers, and organizational culture, is at the forefront of his focus. Developing, implementing, monitoring, and assessing the association's programs, including their impact on the underserved community, is also one of his high priorities. It is his responsibility to ensure that the Executive Board, Executive Committee, Team Dragon, and the members of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA), has all of the supplies and support they need to accomplish their missions.
 
His ultimate responsibility is to maintain the focus of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA) as it continues "Giving back, while sending messages to a future we will not see".

Mr. Charles Bates, Senior Executive Advisor to the President

Mr. Bates is a member of the Class of 1971.

He will provide advisory support to the President and promote the image by representing the President internally and externally.  He will also serve as a liaison between the President, the Executive Board, Executive Committee, Team Dragon, and the members of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA).


He will also participate in all fund-raising efforts of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA).

Mrs. Bonita Campbell, Executive Advisor to the President

Mrs. Bonita Campbell, is a member of the Class of 1974.

As Executive Advisor to the President, she will provide leadership for Team Dragon members regarding the planning, directing, and evaluating departmental operations. She will also function as departmental liaison to Team Dragon Members.

Ms. Della L. Rogers, Executive Secretary
 
Ms. Rogers is a member of the Class of 1970. 

As the Executive Secretary of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA), she will perform secretarial and executive support activities to assist the President, in the development, implementation, and executive management of programs and policies for the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA). She will also perform a full range of Executive Secretarial and related duties using considerable independent judgment in making those decisions.

She coordinates office management activities for the President, including researching, compiling, assmilation and preparation of information for dissemination to the Executive Board, Executive Committee, Team Dragon and the membership of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA).  She will compile reports and forward summaries to the President on her progress for distribution to Executive Board, Executive Committee and Team Dragon.

Ms. Rogers is the author of the "Heavenly Golden Dragon Memory Book" and responsible for its distribution. She also creates Memorial Flyers for bereaved families of the Dragon Nation.

Stacy Demerson-Johns, Executive Secretary's Senior Assistant

 

Mrs. Stacy Demerson is a member of the Class of 1991. 

 

As Senior Assistant to Executive Secretary of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA), she will perform secretarial and executive support activities to assist the President, in the development, implementation, and executive management of programs and policies for the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA). She will also perform a full range of secretarial and related duties. She will assist in coordinates office management activities for the President, including researching, compiling, assmilation and preparation of information for dissemination to the Executive Board, Executive Committee, Team Dragon and the membership of theCarver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA).

 

She will particiapte in all fund-raising efforts of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA).

Mrs. Freda Powell, Assistant to the Executive Secretary With  The Heavenly Golden Dragon Memory Book (HGDMB)
 
Freda is a member of the Class of 1977. In her position, it will be her responsibility to assist the Executive Secretary in the collection of and archiving information of members of the Dragon Nation who are now Heavenly Golden Dragons. This information will then be added to update the In Memory of  Section on the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA)Website and for updating the Heavenly Memory Book. (HGDMB) for publication.
 
She will also participate is all fund-raising events of the Carver Golden Dragon Association. (CGDA)

Ms. Rosieleetta Reed, Treasurer

Ms. Reed is a member of the Class of 1968.

As Treasurer it will be her responsibility to oversee the accounts, budgets and financial statements of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA)​.  She will insure all record keeping and account information is accurate. 

She will present this information to the Executive Board.

Mrs Clara Brown-Trimble, Director of Public Relations
 
Mrs. Clara Brown-Trimble is a member of the class of 1972.

As the Director of Public Relations, it will be her primary responsibility to coordinate and implement a plan whose purpose is to create a positive public image for the
 Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA).

She will work to insure that her plan will be implemented efficiently and successfully. She will be responsible to create interest in this association as we continue our recruitment efforts.

She will also participate in all fund-raising efforts of the Carver Golden Dragon Association. (CGDA).

Doris Chandler, Director of Educational Information, Bonita A. Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Selection Committee Member 

Doris is a member of the Class of 1970.

In her position, as the Education Writer, she will provide us with information on various Education Information that will keep us informed about changes in the Education World.

She will also serve as a member of the Bonita A. Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Selection Committee, along with the Chairperson and the other Bonita A. Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Selection Committee (BARMSSC) selection members, she will screen and process all scholarship applications received by the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA) for the Bonita A. Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Selection Committee (BARMSSC).


She will make sure all criteria are met while making an unbiased selection of the recipients. The criteria have been defined within the application.

. He oversees the screening and processing of all scholarship applications received by the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA) for the BARMSSC. He makes sure all criteria is met, while he and the other selection team members will make an unbiased selection of the recipients. The criteria have been defined within the application.

Dr. Rosemary Knighton-Harkins, PhD, Director of Health Education/BARMSSC
 
Dr. Harkins is a member of Class of 1955.

Health is a major issue with each of us as we grow older. In her position she will provide us with information that will serve us well as we become more health conscious.

Mrs. Mary Penns, Director of Campaigns
Mrs. Penns is a member of the Class of 1969.

In her position as Director of Campaigns, she will oversee all fund-raising efforts of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA). It will be her primary responsibility to coordinate and implement plans whose purpose is to create a positive public image for the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA), creating a desire of an individual to want to donate to this worthy cause. She will work to ensure that her plans will be implemented efficiently and successfully.

Mrs. Lenda Nelson-Allen, Assistant to Director of Campaigns
 
Mrs. Allen is a member of the Class of 1972.

As the Assistant to the Director of Campaigns her responsibility is to assist the Director of Campaigns in all fund-raising efforts of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA) which will provide scholarships and more to the underserved population of the Amarillo Community.

She will also participate in all fund-raising efforts of the CGDA.

Mr. Donnell Campbell, Liaison Director
 
Mr. Campbell is a member of the Class of 1964.

Mr. Campbell's responsibility as Liaison Director is to coordinate the relationship between the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA) and any parties outside the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA). His responsibility is to focus on removing obstacles that restrict the association from unifying in a joint venture with other organizations. He will also work to resolve any disputes that arise during these projects, so that the reputation of the association remains unscathed. He will explain the goals of our group and try to recruit new members. He will take part in planning events hosted by the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA) and other parties or projects which allow the parties to meet. In doing his job properly, all parties will have the necessary materials, allowing for a successful venture between the two parties.

Mrs. Linda Alexander Mims, Assistant Liaison Director
 
Mrs. Mims is a member of the Class of 1972.

As the Assistant to the Liaison Director, her principal duty will be to provide assistance to the Director. She will assist with all projects associated with or sponsored by the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA) and outside parties.

Because it is the Liaison's job to bring two or more entities together, it will also be her job to help keep those parties together. Through communication, she will help to insure that each party considers the opinions of the other parties to reach an effective agreement. This will be an important aspect of the assistant, because relationships between parties can quickly dissolve if conflicts grow out of proportion.

She will also participate in all fund-raising efforts of the Carver Golden Dragon Association (CGDA).

Mrs. LaVern Campbell, Administrative Assistant to the Liaison Director
 
Mrs. Campbell is a member of the Class of 1968. 

She serves as the Administrative Assistant  to the Liaison Director.  Her  primary responsibility is to perform all basic office tasks including drafting correspondences, and reports that will be sent to the Executive Board. She will forward e-mails, messages and packages for the Liaison Director from the Executive Board, and to disseminate this information to the other Liasion staff members. She will also maintain the Director’s calendar, keeping the Executive Committee apprised of his schedule. All requests for publications will be sent to the Executive Secretary and they will be provided.

She will also participate in all fund-raising efforts of the Carver Golden Dragon CGDA.

Reverend Jon Pace, Jr., Director of Youth Development
Reverend Pace is a member of the Class of 1984.

This is proof that the seeds planted have taken root in the preservation of the Carver Legacy.

It will be his responsibility to reach our Youth and impress the importance upon them, that the life they know wouldn't be possible if not for those that came before them. Furthermore, it is important they understand the importance of what Legacy they will leave for the next generation.
