Sharla Franklin extended a welcome to our guest and ask them to stand as our honorees were escorted to the front of the auditorium Mr. Avery presented Mrs. Young with the Mr. Champions Award, for her service to us and our community. Sarah and Charles Bates Mr. Avery introduced Mrs. Gloria Foster-Young by reading her Bio. and a host of others. As Ms Gloria Foster-Young rises to receive her award, we can only think about those days in her class and the ruler she would use to tap us with to get our attention. Mrs. Person express her gratitude to the association for recognizing her and her efforts. Ray Nash presents Mrs. Ruby Person with the Mr. Neals Award. Ms Jones calls forth Mrs. Ruby Person Thanks again Mrs. Person for a job well done.
