
Sharla Franklin
1955-11-21 2015-12-03Sharla Marie Franklin was born to Tom and Ada Dansby in Amarillo, Texas. Her parents knew on that day she was a bundle of joy.
She attended St. Martin Catholic School and schools with in the AISD. After graduation, she attended Amarillo Jr. College where she received the Associate degree. She was pursing obtaining a Real Estate License.
It is difficult to describe our dear Sharla. She was graceful, full of life and were helpful to those in need. There were very few times that you saw a frown on her face. Sharla enjoyed and love to travel.
When she was given the news regarding her cancer, she chose to fight, to the very end.
She was preceded in death by her father: Tom Dansby; a sister: Rubee Dansby; and an aunt: Ida Bell. She leaves to honor her life her mother Mrs. Ada Dansby-Bradley, Amarillo, Texas; two daughters: Ms. Tharla Franklin, Colorado Springs; Mrs. Candace (Tony) Franklin-Livley, Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters: Gail Dansby, Mary Jewel, Kathy Dansby; and four brothers: Willie Danny Dansby, Thomas Dansby, Timothy Dansby and Thomas Dansby Williams. Also a host uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews and special friends.
