Robert C. Douglas, 58 died on May 17, 2014. He was born to Edwin C and Rosie L. Douglas on April 5, 1956 in Amarillo, Texas. He was reared and attended the public schools of Amarillo, graduating from Palo Duro High School in 1974. He attended Fort Hayes Staten University in Fort Hayes, Kansas on a football scholarship. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. Robert was employed by International Paper Company.

On August 11, 1979, Robert married Dianna L. Hollings.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Dianna; 2 daughters, Juanshea Douglas and Claytonia Douglas; 4 grandchildren, Unique, Uvante’, U’kobe, and Uvonna; 4 brothers, Edwin C. Douglas, Jr (Lena), Jonathan Douglas (Joan), Michael Douglas and Shaheed Douglas; 8 sisters, Ruby Byndom, Rose Owens (William), Cynthia Jefferson (Clifford), Becky White, Lottie Douglas, Lawanda Smith, Stacy Butler and Elizabeth “Lucky” Douglas.

Wake services today from 7-8 at Warford-Walker Mortuary Chapel. Services to be held on Saturday, May 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Pentecostal Temple COGIC 362 Oak St. Amarillo, TX. Superintendent Elijah Demerson, Pastor and Dr. Lee Simpson, Officiating. Burial at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, TX.
