Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at New Light Ministries with Bishop R. Murray and the Rev. E. Murray, pastor, officiating. Burial in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St.

Rose Mary Hodgest was born January 19, 1958, in Amarillo. She attended Carver Junior High School and graduated from Tascosa High School.

Rose Mary lived an unselfish life and continually gave to people without a second thought. She loved her family unconditionally and was a great example of what love can do. She lived and fought the good fight of faith. She accepted Christ into her life in 2011.

Survivors include four brothers, Donald Hodgest Sr. of Carrollton, Edward Hodgest and Robert Hodgest, both of Amarillo and Kelvin Hodgest of Fort Worth; three sisters, Celestine Reed of Amarillo, Shirley Williams of McKinney and Tammie Roddey of Midland; a special friend, Billy Pollard; and many nieces and nephews.
