Wanda Kemp, 62, of Amarillo died Saturday, June 16, 2012.
Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 in St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Harris, pastor, and the Rev. Brian Pack, elder of Church of the Living God, officiating. Burial in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Warford-Walker Mortuary, 509 N. Hughes St.

Mrs. Kemp was born January 17, 1950, in Forney to Webb and Dorothy Tinner. She accepted and committed to Jesus Christ at an early age. Wanda united with Church of the Living God under the leadership of Elder Howard Romaine in 1979. She continued her faithful service under the leadership of Elder Brian Pack until her homecoming.
Wanda was raised in Tulia until her teenage years when she moved to Amarillo with her family. She attended Carver Elementary School and Palo Duro High School. She worked at Levi Strauss for 30 years and Tyson Fresh Meats for five years, and before her passing, she was employed at William P. Clements Unit for four years as a correctional officer.
