Jo'Ann Burns-Dever

Jo'Ann Burns-Dever, 54, of Amarillo died Saturday, March 12, 2011, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Emmanuel Church with the Rev. Joe Taylor, pastor, and the Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Warford Walker Mortuary, 509 N. Hughes St.

Jo'Ann was born Nov. 17, 1956, in Amarillo to Oscar Burns and Clarice Taylor. She attended North Heights Elementary School and Carver Junior High School. She was a former employee of Caprock Nursing Home.

Survivors include a son, Alfonso Hubbard of Amarillo; two sisters, Alice Mae Jackson and Diana Burns Marshall, both of Amarillo; and three brothers, Andrew Burns of Lubbock, and Johnny and Virgil Burns, both of Amarillo.
