Oma Donnitta Martin, 57, of Amarillo died Friday, June 17, 2011.

Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 in St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. A.W. Flowers, pastor of Stone Faith Temple Church, officiating. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery by Warford-Walker Mortuary, 509 N. Hughes St.

Oma was born July 8, 1953, in Wellington to J.B. and Lee Una Ford. She attended North Heights Elementary School, Carver Junior High School and graduated from Palo Duro High School, all in Amarillo.

Oma was employed as a dietary manager at Cross Timbers Rehabilitation Health Center in Flower Mound.

Survivors include three sons, Mikyl Martin of Wichita Falls, and Tabarich and Arek Martin, both of Fort Worth; two brothers, Eddie Mims of Albuquerque, N.M., and Elmer Ford of Amarillo; a sister, Lila Mitchell of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
