Services were at 1 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2009 in Jenkins Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. D.D. Fincher, pastor, officiating. Burial in Llano Cemetery by Warford-Walker Mortuary, 509 N. Hughes St.

Cynthia Ann Booker was born November 1, 1951, to Hollis and Ethel Lloyd in Brownfield. The family moved to Amarillo during her infancy. She attended Carver Junior High School and graduated from Amarillo High School. She worked at Northwest Texas Hospital as a registered nurse.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother, Ethel McDaniel of Amarillo; nine children, Elaunna Howard, Samuel Howard and Henry L. Booker II and wife Whitney, all of Amarillo, and Felecia Ann Booker, Ronda Booker, Clifford Booker, Shantell Booker-Woods, Deric Booker Sr. and Anna Booker-McDavid, all of Dallas; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; a special daughter, Jackie Cagle; and many other relatives.
