Alice F. Dunlap was born April 7, 1944, in Henrietta to the late Fernanders and Odessa Mae Pointer. She attended Carver High School and Amarillo College. She worked most of her career with the federal government, beginning with the Department of the Interior, Department of Human Resources and Social Security Hearings and Appeals. She was a member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mary M. Mallett of Los Angeles; two daughters, Cassandra Dunlap and Mary L. Johnson and husband Roland, all of Sacramento, Calif.; a son, Lowell A. Dunlap of Sacramento; and 10 grandchildren, all of Sacramento.
Viewing was from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the funeral home.
