1944-11-25 2010-11-22Frank was born November 25, 1945, in Winnsboro to the late Aaron Warmsley and Ethel Roten Warmsley. He was the second of three children and lived in Winnsboro until the age of 10.
The family moved to Amarillo, where Frank joined Mount Zion Baptist Church. As a teenager, Frank took an active part in the choir and served on the usher board for many years.
He graduated from Carver High School with the Class of 1964. After graduating, Frank attended Central State College in Edmond, Okla., for a year on an athletic scholarship. He entered the U.S. Army in 1966, which included one tour of Vietnam.
Frank entered into holy matrimony with Wanda Ray Perry in July 1977. To this union was born one child, Kami Rejan.
Frank was employed at the VA Hospital for many years until he had to retire on medical disability in 2006. He then worked part time at Walmart, using his warm, friendly personality to greet people.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Wanda Ray; a daughter, Kami; a stepson, Kevin Perry; two grandsons; a brother, Henry Lee Warmsley of Pittsburg; a sister, Helen Eddington Hardeman of San Antonio; many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Hey Frank You are really missed. I have great memories of you. Your kindness, being the big brother I wasn't blessed with, road trips and just hanging out. God chose to remove you from this place and take you to heaven with him. Your job here was done. May you rest in peace. We will meet again someday. Goodbye and God bless.
