Clarence Eugene Cook
2011-02-18Clarence Cook was born in Amarillo to Eugene and Anita Jones Cook in 1946. He attended public schools in Amarillo and was a graduate of Carver High School.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Kay Cook of Amarillo; five daughters, Ramona Oatman, Jascha, Babie Latonya, Maranda and Concetta Cook; seven sons, Clarence Jr., Coyous, George Eugene Cook, Don Ray, Willie Joe and Anotione Gentry and Jacob Martin; two sisters, Anastasia and Sabrina Cooks; two brothers, Eugene and Dwight Cooks; 32 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
I will reflect on the good times that we spent in OKC, and not the dark times when you returned to Amarillo. Friendship is at times difficult, in that we accept a person as they are and not as we want.Rest in peace.
